One brick charges everything, which means the phone that takes our photos never dies mid-walk. We allow it.

The short answer
The humans cannot pack light. We have watched them try. These ten things are the reason the suitcase closes at all, and since the trips end at dog-friendly beaches, we have decided to approve them.
A note on how this works: we test dog gear ourselves, paws on. Human gear we can only supervise. What follows is the packing list the humans reach for every single trip, with our professional observations.
One brick charges everything, which means the phone that takes our photos never dies mid-walk. We allow it.
The buzzing stick the humans wave around every morning. It has its own case now, so it has stopped rattling around next to our treat bag. Improvement noted.
Folds flat and weighs nothing until the humans buy too much at a market. Then it becomes the snack bag. Our favorite bag, structurally and emotionally.
Squishes a frankly ridiculous amount of clothing into less space. More trunk room for us, which is, in our view, the entire purpose of a trunk.
Gets sprayed when airplane air makes the humans scratchy. Smells like honey. We have applied to taste it and have been denied, repeatedly, which we consider a design flaw.
Tiny folding hangers so the nice shirts survive the trip. The nice shirts attract our fur anyway. Nature finds a way.
The bag of small bottles that hangs on hotel bathroom doors and keeps the tiny counter usable. We sleep through this part of the routine, but the humans rate it highly.
Fifteen sounds, and every one of them keeps the humans asleep past sunrise in strange rooms. It also muffles hallway noises we would otherwise be professionally required to announce. Grudging respect.
Seven little boxes so nobody forgets the important things on the road. We respect a routine. We invented routines.
For the day a zoomie meets a shirt seam. This has happened. We admit nothing.
The exact items the humans use, kept current on the Benable list.
