The short version: the only personal information this site collects is an email address, and only if you choose to sign up for the newsletter.

The newsletter

If you enter your email in the signup form, we use it solely to send you the weekly gear picks newsletter. We never sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone. You can unsubscribe anytime: every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe option, and a message to the Sami & Diego account on Pinterest also works. Ask and we will delete your address entirely.

The form is handled by Netlify Forms, our hosting provider's built-in form service. It runs on the server, uses no JavaScript on this site, and sets no cookies. Submitted addresses are stored with Netlify and in the mailbox that receives signup notifications, and nowhere else.

What this site does not do

samianddiego.com has no accounts, no comments, and no shopping cart. It does not set cookies, run analytics, or load tracking scripts. Beyond the newsletter address you choose to give us, we have no way to identify you and no interest in trying.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) for security and operations. Those logs belong to the hosting layer and are not used by this site to identify visitors. You can read more in Netlify's own privacy documentation.

Links to other sites

Buttons and links on this site lead to Amazon, Benable, and Pinterest. Once you land there, their privacy policies apply, not this one. Affiliate links may include a tag that tells the shop the visit came from this site; that tag does not carry personal information about you.
